Back when I was a young child, we had two cats: Pookie and Chica. Pookie was a feral who lived her life outdoors, and Chica was a fat immortal who lazed about in the sun whenever she had the chance. Both cats held a special place in my heart, but it was Chica who really captivated me. She seemed nonchalant and blasé, as if she cared not for the toils of the humans, but when I did my special pspsps, she would come sprinting over to me for a pat on the head.
